The World's First Online Collaborative Commentary to an Ancient Text

Profile
I'm in the Classics Dept. at Tufts University, with an adjunct position in History. I teach Greek and Roman history and Greek and Latin languages and literature. My early work was on Xenophon and Greek interactions with Persia (notably "The Friendship of the Barbarians"), and I try to keep up on Achaemenid studies. I am co-author of a world history textbook, "The Earth and its Peoples," for which I write the chapters from prehistory to late antiquity globally. My current work revolves around comparative approaches to the histories and civilizations of the Greco-Roman Mediterranean and ancient China, and I am fairly far along with a book on this subject.
